REQUEST FOR COMMENTS ON THE DRAFT PUBLIC RELATIONS AND COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT POLICY AND INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC RELATIONS AND COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT DRAFT BILL
The Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology has published the notice for request of comments on the draft Public Relations and Communication Management policy and Institute of Public Relations and Communication Management draft bill. Members are invited to submit substantive and specific proposals and/or comments for amendments on the draft Public Relations and Communication Management Policy and Institute of Public Relations and Communication Management Bill. Please submit your proposals and/or comments via the email address: iprac@information.go.ke
The deadline for submission of comments is by close of business on Friday, 20th December 2019. Thereafter, a stakeholder forum will be held to review and consolidate the submitted comments.
The expected outcome after stakeholders’ consultations is a comprehensive Policy and Bill that seeks to establish the Institute as a statutory self-regulatory body for Public Relations and Communication Management practitioners both in public and private sectors in Kenya fully backed by law.
